Office of Community Engagement and Events

The Department of Community Engagement and Events manages the Donald P. Pipino Performing Arts Series and the Summer Festival of the Arts. Its core functions include the planning of departmental and College events; coordination of media relations; preparation of marketing materials and logistical support for various activities. In addition, the activities of the University Theater Box Office are managed by this department, and it serves as the producer of the annual opera. The office is a point of connection and collaboration between the community and the College of Creative Arts & Communication to create and sustain ongoing and meaningful relationships.

Serving as representatives of the College to support and promote the arts on campus and within the greater community, the Office of Community Engagement and Events includes two full-time staff members and numerous student employees.
