What You'll Study
In this program you'll critically read and analyze primary and secondary sources while studying the different elements of historiography. You'll learn how historical interpretation changes over time and comprehend the importance and impact of cultural diversity on the past and its relevance in the present. Taking a combination of American, European and transnational courses, as well as lower- and upper-level History studies, you'll better understand the discipline and become skilled at examining our world's past.
Whether your goals include graduate study; law school; working for museums, libraries, historical societies and state and federal government agencies; or entering the business world, majoring in History is the perfect start.
