Adult Support Services

There are several academic support services that have been developed specifically for adults:
The Center for Student Progress helps adults make the transition to college and serves as a referral office for all points on campus. In addition, adults can receive one-on-one consultations on any University issue and access to the Adult Student Directory, an index of adult students with experience in academics, careers, and majors who have volunteered to act as mentors to other adult students.

Career Services provides professional assistance for career exploration, planning, and placement, offering on and off-campus job postings, internship opportunities, employment vacancies, and a job hotline.

Other services include, but are not limited to, study assistance in subjects from math and foreign languages to writing and reading; the Women's Center, which acts as a referral service for women, among other functions, and the University Counseling Center, which offers personal counseling.
