Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine BSMD Program
Prospective students seeking admission to the YSU combined B.S./M.D. program must submit an application for admission directly to Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine and must take either the ACT or the SAT.
Official results from either the ACT or SAT must be sent directly to the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine from the testing agency. Also, high school transcripts with grades through the junior year must be mailed directly from the high school to the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine.
Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine is a publicly chartered and funded institution in the state of Ohio. Therefore, its charter mandates giving admission preference to residents of the state of Ohio as defined by the Ohio Board of Regents. Only U.S. citizens and permanent residents may be considered for admission to NEOUCOM. This program is available to high school seniors only.
The application deadline and the official transcripts and test results deadline is December 15 preceding the summer in which the program begins. "Early Action" deadline is October 1st. (See the NEOUCOM website for more information)
