Counselor Day

     In December, high school and transfer counselors from Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia are invited to learn more about Youngstown State University’s academic programs and services. Also, based on the counselors’ recorded interests, the program includes topics that are of interest to them.  For example, former Counselor Day guest speakers have discussed school violence, at-risk youth, and suicidal adolescents.  Following a luncheon with YSU administrators, additional breakout sessions and campus tours are offered.
