| The right to retain ownership of class projects/assignments authored by
a student and submitted to fulfill requirements of a course, except as
provided by Ohio Revised Code, Section 3345.14 and by the Family
Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). The University is authorized
to collect papers, tests, projects and other documents from students
for the purposes of assessment. If the results of the assessment are to
be published or presented for the purposes of contributing to
generalized knowledge, however, the department should examine 45-Code
of Federal Regulations CFR-46.101 & 102 and consult with the Human
Subjects Committee (IRB) for guidelines and review. |
