The Youngstown State University Board of Trustees will conduct a Special Meeting at 2 p.m., Tuesday, November 21, in the Board Meeting Room, first floor, Tod Hall.
The purpose of the special meeting is to consider and/or take action upon the presidential search and such other matters as may properly come before the Board of Trustees.

YSU Board of Trustees to meet
The Youngstown State University Board of Trustees will conduct an emergency meeting (per the Bylaws of the YSU Board of Trustees) at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, November 16, in the Board Meeting Room, first floor, Tod Hall.
The purpose of the emergency meeting is to consider and/or take action upon the presidential search and such other matters as may properly come before the Board of Trustees.

YSU Board of Trustees Executive Committee to meet
The Executive Committee of Youngstown State University’s Board of Trustees will meet at 5 p.m., Tuesday, November 14, in the Board Meeting Room, first floor, Tod Hall.
The meetings will be held in executive session pursuant to Ohio Revised Code 121.22(G)(1) “to consider the appointment, employment, dismissal, discipline, promotion, demotion, or compensation of a public employee or official…”.
The purpose of the meeting is to consider the presidential search and such other matters as may properly come before the Board of Trustees. Only members of the Board and such individuals as requested by the Board may remain in the meeting room and participate in the discussions during executive session. No formal actions will be taken.

YSU Board of Trustees Governance Committee to meet
The Governance Committee of Youngstown State University’s Board of Trustees will meet to discuss YSU’s Future State on Tuesday, Nov. 7 at 10:30 a.m.; Thursday, Nov. 9 at 10:30 a.m.; and Friday, Nov. 10 at 8:15 a.m. at the Avalon Inn, Warren, Ohio.
The meetings will be held in executive session pursuant to Ohio Revised Code 121.22(G)(1) “to consider the appointment, employment, dismissal, discipline, promotion, demotion, or compensation of a public employee or official…”.
Only members of the Board and such individuals as requested by the Board may remain in the meeting room and participate in the discussions during executive session. No formal actions will be taken.
The Youngstown State University Board of Trustees are selected by the Governor of Ohio and appointed to 9 year terms. The board consists of 11 members, two of which are student members. There also are two national/global trustees on the board.
