Start Early—Federal Internships

The easiest way for a student to get a full time job with the federal government is to start out as an intern with SCEP. If the agency chooses to hire you full time, then you bypass the bureaucratic hiring process (see Federal Internships)

• It is important that you begin early. It can take 4 months to one year to get an internship because of the security process involved.
