About the Speaker

·        Harry is an industrial designer.  Most of his career has been in design research and product development, with a brief time as a faculty member in the college of engineering at the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut.

·        Since his youth, Harry has been interested in antique cars.  In fact, one of Harry’s model car creations was a national scholarship winner in the Fisher Body Craftmans’ Guild and now resides in the Smithsonian in Washington.

·        Harry’s current work detailing, documenting, and building a ¼ scale model of a 1913 Model T has been published in The Vintage Ford several times.  He is in the final stages of a “how-to” book on the building of the scale model.

·        Harry has superbly applied his experience in industrial design and engineering oriented skills, as well as his illustrative and model building capabilities to his ¼ scale model of a 1913 Model T.  Every part is absolutely accurate-right down to the smallest individual component.

·        Harry brings with him such a wealth of knowledge and practical experience that in this case he has applied to his love of antique cars.  Please join us on Friday for his presentation.  You won’t be disappointed!!
