CHUCK H. WHITMAN STUDENT SERVICES
Graduate Scholarship

Qualifications
A grant of at least $300.00 each year will be given to a student chosen on the basis of the
following criteria:

1.
A graduate student in the Department of Counseling, who has been
accepted into the program.
2.
Student must be interested in Option D: Higher Education Student
Services.
3.
Preference will be given to students in professional Career Counseling
and Development.
4.
The deadline for submission of application is February 15th each year.

The scholarship is to be awarded for one year and is not automatically renewed for any
subsequent year. Application forms will be available in the Counseling Department
office. The award will be publicly announced on Honors Day.

Selection for Chuck H. Whitman Student Services Scholarship

The Selection Committee will review the application forms for the scholarship. Each
Committee member will have one vote. The Committee shall consist of the Counseling
Department Chairperson, two faculty members from the Counseling Department, one
student from the Counseling Department and Mr. Chuck Whitman.
