The Youngstown State University Office of University Development is responsible for designing, planning, and implementing campus fundraising strategies. The purpose of this effort is to increase private support, thereby creating an "edge of excellence" otherwise not feasible under current levels of state support. These efforts are coordinated with the members of the Development Department, Marketing and Communications Department, the Office of Alumni Relations, the YSU Foundation, and outreach staff of the individual Colleges.
