GEP closely
monitors the educational requirements and methodology necessary to
insure a quality and rewarding experience for students. All GEP
programs, simulations and educational modules are based on proven
role-playing and simulation techniques. A simulation is an
unrehearsed dramatization in which the participating students are
presented with a problem, assigned the task of trying to resolve the
problem with in the context of the body being simulated. Simulation
and roleplaying rely on a learning-by-doing philosophy, where
students become active participants, absorbing the subject material
and developing an awareness of the process by participating in the
process. The educational goals and the skills reinforced by a
simulation - role playing pedagogy include.
