Welcome to Youngstown State University! Your experiences as a student here at YSU should be among the most memorable years of your life, and we are here to help make that happen.

You are encouraged to get involved in student organizations, student service projects and projects which will enable you to work with faculty members and other students. One of the best ways to realize a true college education is to join a fraternity or sorority. YSU’s Greek organizations are among the most active organizations on campus and throughout the entire Youngstown community. Greek Life will enhance your college experience as those who participate in Greek organizations consistently achieve higher scholarship ratings than the all-campus average—a fact of which to be very proud! In addition, these organizations participate in philanthropic projects, community service projects and actively raise funds for both local and national causes. Other benefits include leadership development and a true sense of family.
