"Helping women grow, give, lead and succeed."
WHAT
IS THE NATIONAL PANHELLENIC COUNCIL?
The
National Panhellenic Conference (NPC), founded in 1902,
and its 26 member organizations enrich society by preparing college women for the challenges of tomorrow.
Each
member group is autonomous as a social, Greek-letter society
of college women and alumnae. Members are represented on
over 620 college and university campuses in the United States
and Canada and in over 4,600 alumnae associations, making
up over 4 million sorority women in the world.
NPC and its members:
• Guide and train young women to be the leaders of tomorrow;
• Supplement academics with business and leadership skills such as ethics, accountability, cooperation, comportment and etiquette; and
• Raise significant funds and awareness for a wide range of worthy causes, including health care, poverty relief, justice, literacy, the environment and children’s advocacy.
