Volunteer Opportunities		Current Volunteer Opportunities
	All University Scholars are required to complete at least 60 hours of community service per year to retain their scholarship. Many different opportunities are available to students at the University and in the community to fulfill this requirement. The following is a listing of current volunteer postings approved by the Honors Office. Sign up sheets for the following activities can be found on the Honors Office windows across from the mailboxes	Spring 2008 Volunteer Opportunities YSU Foundation Phone-a-thon February 12, 13 & 26 from 5:45-9:00PM University Scholars - 25 students needed each day *Science Fair Judges* Hubbard High School February 5 Anytime from 8:00AM-1:00PM Contact: Hubbard High School Maria Pizanias - 330.534.1113 *YSU Open House* Tour Guides Needed Meet in the South lobby of Beeghly Center February 18 12:45-3:30PM The last tour departs at 2:30 Aquarium Guides - Eastwood Mall Tuesday or Thursday: 9:30 – 2:30 Eastwood mall is looking for a few people who could commit to doing this for a few hours each week Volunteers Needed for the Aquarium Working with primary and intermediate school children. Know the facts and be able to answer any questions. Training provided. Casual dressing – black dress and nice top.
