Fall 2004 Review:

Book Cover Guitar Girl

Sarra Manning

Dutton Children's Books, 2004

Molly and the rest of her band never even thought about hitting it big. They were mainly about sitting around and playing funny songs. Her friends Tara and Jane never dreamed of being famous or having fans. When they became famous, the book became more interesting. The book could have had more of an interesting motive. It presented a most sought after reputation among teens. Being famous and playing the guitar. These things are very important to a lot of teenagers nowadays. It has to be any girl's dream to become famous in their own way. Overall, I would recommend this book to anyone who is musically talented and would love to become famous or likes to just play their instrument, whether you sing, play guitar, or play in your school's orchestra.
