I read “Left for Dead” by Pete Nelson.  The story deals with the survivors of the USS Indianapolis.  Most of the people in the story were in WWII.  The story begins at a Westing Hotel in Indianapolis on the second floor.  In the hotel were display cases lining the walls that all pertained to WWII or Indianapolis.  There are also 250 new recruits on their ship.

I enjoyed reading this book because it deals with a type of law enforcement which is something I am very interested in.  It is a good book because it gives information about history and events that happened long ago.  I learned a lot about the USS Indianapolis and all of the recruits who were on board the ship at sea.  It has added to my perception of the armed forces as an interest of mine.
