Fall 2004 Review

Book Cover Teen Idol

Meg Cabot

Harper Collins, 2004

Jenny Greenly was her own person. She had her own values and views about life. She writes the advice column for her school newspaper. She often helps people with their problems. Her best friend Trina is a wonderful character added to the book. Her character is the normal wacky best friend everybody has. She adds a mix of emotions and feelings to the book. Luke Stricker is another important and vital character in the book. The story's main idea is based on the fact that a celebrity would come to a little town like theirs. I loved this book. It has to be one of my favorites. Meg Cabot always seems to get the attention of teenage girls in her writing. I really enjoyed this book because of all the suspense and thrill. Cabot grabbed my attention with this book.
