Abstract:	Harry Meshel is a graduate of Youngstown University (now Youngstown State University). He served on the Ohio State Senate from 1970-1993. Then he served as chair to the Ohio Democratic Party from 1993-1995. In May 2007, Ted Strickland appointed him on the Youngstown State University Board of Trustees to serve a nine year term. He played an important role over the years in the growth of Youngstown State University and NEOUCOM.
