The Administrative Advisory Council was created under the presidency of Leslie H.
Cochran. Charles McBriarty, Special Assistant to the President, served as secretary to the
Council and was responsible for the compilation of these minutes. The Administrative
Advisory consisted of Deans, Executive Directors, Union Presidents, and others serving
at the pleasure of the President. The purpose of the Council was to inform the President
with administrative information and advice. In July of 2006 the Administrative Advisory
Council was renamed to "Executive and Administrative Staff Council."
