Abstract:	This collection contains the records of the Youngstown State University Board of Trustees (a.k.a. the Youngstown Institute of Technology Board of Governors, the Youngstown College Board of Governors, the Youngstown College Board of Trustees, and The Youngstown University Board of Trustees). These documents cover the timeframe 1927, when the institution was a "school of second chance" sponsored by the Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA), to the present day as it serves the community as a public university supported by the State of Ohio.
