Overview:

The Chemical Management Center (CMC) is a state of the art facility that deals with the handling of hazardous chemicals (solids, liquids & gases), infectious agents and radioactive materials from the time of purchase to their ultimate removal from campus. Designed to assure that YSU complies with all federal, state, and local statutes pertaining to the safe storage of chemicals the CMC contains a chemical warehouse complete with numerous safety designs that allows YSU to store and dispense frequently used chemicals for academic as well as non-academic departments on campus. The CMC is strategically located at 124 Lincoln Ave. on the YSU campus adjacent to Ward Beecher Hall where most activity involving chemical Handling takes place.
