Center for Historic Preservation
Overview:Housed in the Peck-Schaff House on Wick avenue , the Center for Historic Preservation consists of faculty and research offices, a publishing center, oral history transcription facilities, computer work stations, and a library and archives. The Center for Historic Preservation and its staff are committed to making the most of existing resources by celebrating and safeguarding our nation's vintage architecture, industrial and engineering sites, and historic resources by serving as professional consultants for local, state, and federal projects. Our capabilities include Historic American Building Survey/Historic American Engineering Record Documentation, National Register nominations, research and writing of historic documents, historic resource surveys, archeological excavations, and desktop publishing.
