Welcome to Youngstown State's Supplier Diversity Program:

Youngstown State University’s Supplier Diversity Program—previously known as the Minority Business Supplier Coalition or MBE Suppler Coalition, is an extension of the Purchasing-Materials Management Department. This program is intended to address the specific needs of local Minority Businesses (MBEs) within the Youngstown-Warren community as well as provide the necessary resources required to increase purchasing opportunities.
 

Supplier Diversity Mission Statement:

Youngstown State University is committed to diversifying its supplier base by increasing its MBE purchasing participation through the use of purchase orders and the procurement card. In addition, while continuing to develop relationships with local MBEs, the YSU Supplier Diversity Program will act as a "mentor" specifically to Empyra and the Industrial Supply Company. This mentoring is made possible through the NOMBC Initial Partners First Module in which YSU is a Corporate member.
