About the Metro College

Our Place in the Community

YSU's Metro College at Southwoods Commons brings the resources of YSU to the doorstep of residents and businesses out in the community. Whether you are in need of specialized training or your office staff is seeking training that can upgrade their job skills, it can all be found at YSU's Metro College. Additionally, we provide admissions counseling, which is available by appointment, for starting or completing a graduate or undergraduate degree. Both credit and non-credit courses are offered. You may begin to satisfy the general education requirements for an undergraduate degree at the Metro College or take non-credit courses for personal enrichment and skills development.

Directions and Maps

Directions from Interstate 680

Get off at the Boardman Canfield exit. Go into Boardman and turn left on Market St. (SR 7 which is about 3 miles, See Map 2). YSU Metro College will be less than a mile on left (See Map 1).

From State Route 11

Get off at the Boardman Poland exit. Go into Boardman and turn Right on Market St. (SR 7 which is about 3 miles, See Map 2). YSU Metro College will be under a mile on left (See Map 1).

From Interstate 76

Exit at Market St. (S R 7 Exit 232) Go north on Market St. approximately 4 miles to Metro College. YSU Metro College will be on the right at the corner of Market St. and DeBartolo Place.
