General InformationDiscountsAlumni DiscountsA 10% discount is available to members of the YSU Alumni Association and their spouse and dependents. Presentation of the YSU AA membership card is required at the time of registration. Only one discount option may be applied to an enrollment. Early Bird DiscountRegister for any class $99 or more, two weeks in advance of class and receive a $20 discount. Team Discount - Save 10%A 10% discount is available to companies and agencies that enroll three or more individuals in the same course or seminar - with payment made by one company check or purchase order reflecting the discounted prices. Only one discount option may be applied to an enrollment. YSU EmployeesFor any YSU employee, download and print out an Employee Remission Form. Organization/Company BillingIn order for our office to bill your organization, you must provide either a purchase order or a letter of authorization to bill with the full name of your company; the billing address; phone number; Tax ID number; and the names, addresses, and Social Security numbers of the person(s) registering. Tax DeductionYou may be able to deduct the cost of educational expenses under Treasury Regulation 1.162.5. Please check the deductibility of courses with a tax professional. RefundsRegistering does not automatically carry with it the right of refund or reduction of indebtedness in cases of failure or inability to attend class or in cases of withdrawal. The student assumes the risk of all changes in business or personal affairs. Any fees subject to refund are determined according to the following schedule: In FullYSU reserves the right to cancel a course should there be insufficient enrollment or for unforseen circumstances. Continuing Education Unit (CEU)The CEU is awarded for participating in designated courses. The CEU is defined as 10 contact hours (10 hours equals 1.0 CUE) of participation in a continuing education course. Participants must attend 80% of the course to earn the CEU. |
