Art of Mexican artist featured in Bliss Hall gallery

The work of Mexican artist Humberto Saenz is featured in the Judith Rae Solomon Gallery in Youngstown State University’s Bliss Hall through Oct. 1. The Gallery is open to the public 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Saenz is a Mexican printmaker currently residing in Wichita, Kansas. He holds the position of assistant professor, graduate faculty and area head of Print Media at Wichita State University. Saenz exhibits his artwork extensively throughout the United States and abroad in solo, juried, and invitational exhibitions. Recent exhibitions include the Flatbed Contemporary Art Fair 2015, Austin, Texas; Dishman Art Museum, Beaumont, Texas.; El Paso Museum of Art, El Paso, Texas.; Leopoldo Carpinteyro Gallery of IMNRC Instituto Mexicano Norteamericano de Relaciones Culturales, Monterrey, Nuevo Laredo, México; Latino Cultural Center, Dallas, Texas.; and the Center for the Arts Bosque Gallery in Cypress, Texas.
