Fans line up for tickets to Saturday's playoff game

As of Tuesday morning, Penguin fans purchased about 3,500 tickets to Saturday's FCS quarterfinal matchup against Wofford at Stambaugh Stadium.

Kickoff is 2 p.m.

Tickets are available in person at the YSU Athletic Ticket Office at Stambaugh Stadium from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Friday and 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday. Tickets also are available by calling 330-941-1YSU or online at www.ysusports.com.

Tickets are $18 for reserved in advance/$20 on gameday, and $25 for chairback seats. Penguin Club and season-ticket holders have until 6 p.m. Wednesday to buy their seats before they are released to the public Tailgate passes are $25.

For YSU students, PNC Bank and YSU President Jim and First Lady Ellen Tressel are providing 1,000 complimentary tickets.
 

Students with a valid YSU ID can pick up their free ticket at the YSU Bookstore or the Stambaugh Stadium Athletic Ticket Office. The YSU Bookstore is the preferred pickup location as tickets available there will be to prime seats, and students can avoid lines at the ticket office.

After the complimentary tickets are claimed, students can purchase one ticket at $5 at the ticket office in Stambaugh Stadium. The YSU student section will be located in Section 6 on the west side of Stambaugh Stadium.

PNC Bank also sponsored free student tickets for the first-round victory over Samford on Nov. 26.

YSU Bookstore ticket pickup is 8 a. m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, and 10 a.m. to kickoff Saturday.
