PR executive gives keynote at Marketing Shadow Day

The Department of Marketing in the Williamson College of Business Administration at Youngstown State University will be holding Fall Semester 2016 Marketing Shadow Day on Friday, Oct. 14,.

The event will start with a kick-off program with breakfast at 8:00 a.m. in the WCBA Conference Center in Williamson Hall.

The morning’s speaker will be Paul Roetzer, founder and CEO of PR 20/20, a Cleveland-based inbound marketing agency, and author of The Marketing Performance Blueprint (Wiley, 2014) and The Marketing Agency Blueprint (Wiley, 2012). Roetzer is a graduate of Ohio University’s E.W. Scripps School of Journalism.

Students will partner with practicing business professionals from throughout the region in the disciplines of Marketing Management, Sales and Account Management, and Advertising and Public Relations. Shadow Day provides students the opportunity to work with business professionals who volunteer to act as a “Mentor-for-a-Day” Business students will shadow the executives from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The goal is to further the student’s experience and develop well-prepared business leaders ready for a wide variety of Marketing career opportunities available in today’s competitive business world.
