This Week at YSU, May 1, 2017

Now through May 5. The works of 29 graduating YSU art students are featured in the Spring Graduating BFA Exhibition in the McDonough Museum of Art on campus. The museum is open Tuesdays through Saturdays, 11 a.m. to until 4 p.m. The museum is open to the public and admission is free.

Friday, May 5, 8 p.m. YSU Ward Beecher Planetarium presents the Lecture Series: “The Dark Side Of The Universe” The planetarium also hosts “The Little Star that Could,” 2 to 3 p.m. and “Totality” 8 to 9 p.m. Saturday, May 6. All shows are free and open to the public.

Friday, May 5 – Sunday, May 7. Horizon League Outdoor Track and Field Championships will be held at Farmers National Bank Field on the YSU campus. 

Saturday, May 6, 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Spring Commencement Ceremonies. Graduates in the Williamson College of Business Administration, Beeghly College of Education and the College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics will participate in the ceremony at 9:30 a.m.

Graduates in the College of Creative Arts and Communication, Bitonte College of Health and Human Services and the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences will participate in the ceremony at 2:30 p.m.
