YSU hosts 20th annual Northeast Ohio Robotics Education competition

Middle and high school students from throughout the region come to the Youngstown State University campus on March 8 for the 20th annual Northeast Ohio Robotics Education Program in Beeghly Center.

Two dozen teams from 14 schools will compete.

The event starts with the opening ceremony at 9 a.m., followed by the competition and then an awards ceremony at 12:30 p.m.

Schools represented will be Canfield Village Middle School, Chaney STEM School, Glenwood Junior High, LaBrae Middle School, Niles Middle School, Poland Middle School, Struthers Middle School, Valley Christian, Boardman High School, LaBrae High School, Lake Shore Compact, Mahoning County Career & Technical Center, Mathews High School and Valley STEM + ME2 Academy.
