About Penguin Productions
Penguin Productions is an organization designed to create, promote, organize and produce YSU Student- and Community-oriented events and activities tailored to fulfill student identified needs and preferences. It consists of a group of Board Advisors from various departments throughout YSU and, at its core, highly-motivated Student Board Members who work with and through the Advisors in bringing events to completion. The Student Board Members gain invaluable real-world experience in the design and production process of major events as well as improving their networking skills and resume.
At its inception, Penguin Productions will be heavily responsible for research and the canvassing of YSU students to find out what events and/or activities the campus population is most interested in. They will then analyze those results and determine a timeline of events for the Spring ’07 semester. The organization is a great opportunity for students who want experience working with committees such as those they might encounter following graduation from YSU.
