Artist	Brenda Myers Cohen. Working in watercolors, oils and enamel cut-outs, Brenda’s jewelry has been exhibited in numerous area venues including the YWCA Women’s Art Show, the Jewish Community Center, the YSU Summer Festival of the Arts and An American Holiday at the Butler Institute of American Art. She is most noted for her large mural paintings and decorative wall design.

Artist Quote	“The finished penguin will look like a fantasy garden perched atop a base of weathered rock and mossy stone, covered in draping ivy. This will be accomplished by using classic trompe l’oeil techniques and other mural painting devices. Penguin feet will look like planters, its beak like sun. Beautiful Ohio sky for head, pink clouds for cheeks, and summer garden for the middle. Gazebo and trees in the distance will finish the effect. Through my work, I am sharing what I see and how it feels to me. If the viewer feels any emotion - from pleasure to fury to mild irritation – then I have done what I started out to do.”
