This is no ordinary
penguin. He dreams of great things in vivid color. He is a Technicolor
display of color and light. The pieces of glass imbedded on his
body are a rainbow of shades and hues. The sun glints on the many
hundreds of pieces of glass and he brightens up a gray day
this penguin represents joy, light, and exuberance. When I became
a mother, I returned to my childhood love of examining and collecting
things shells, rocks, baubles, beads... My work is really
a conglomeration of symbols and objects intertwined in a way that
is hopefully both visually stimulating and meaningful to the individual. |
