“The penguin is one of very few species of birds that cannot fly. A regal emperor penguin is king in the Antarctic cold. We have created a symbolic interpretation of an emperor penguin’s dream of taking flight. Our creation is a realistic rendering of an emperor penguin from the head to the middle, fading down into ‘clouds’ to symbolize his longing to fly. His feathered wings are poised behind him as he proudly stands.” |
