Patrick Wagner is currently Adjunct Faculty at Youngstown State University where he serves as a percussion/piano staff accompanist for the Department of Dance and teaches applied dance accompaniment lessons in the Percussion Department for the Dana School of Music. He is also proud to serve as the Percussion instructor for Ellet High School and Hyre Middle School.
Patrick started his music career upon graduation from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1990, touring nationally and internationally with the United States Marine Corps, U.S. Army, and Ohio National Guard Bands. He earned his Bachelor of Music in Percussion Performance from The University of Akron, and pursued graduate studies at Youngstown State University, where he served as a graduate assistant.
Mr. Wagner has enjoyed a successful and diverse career performing with such groups as 'The Cleveland Jazz Orchestra', 'The Four Tops', and 'The Akron Symphony'. He has also enjoyed being a featured performer at PASIC. As a dance musician, Mr. Wagner has accompanied over one hundred dance instructors and has performed at numerous American Collegiate and Professional Dance Festivals. He also served as the staff percussionist and music contractor for The Carousel Dinner Theater.
