Welcome to the Mahoning Valley Materials Exchange (MVME)
The MVME is funded by the Mahoning County Solid Waste District through the campus of Youngstown State University, and is a completely free and confidential service. Feel free to sell, trade, or give-away acceptable materials through the MVME.
The MVME is NOT a regulatory agency and your business is YOUR business. The MVME exists to HELP manufacturers exchange waste materials to potentially save money (or make money!) and provide another manufacturer quality, valuable feedstock that might otherwise end up in a landfill.
So Why Should Your Company Utilize the MVME?
- It is 100% voluntary and all contact information is confidential.
- It is a FREE service that lists your materials for all manufacturers to view and helps connect you directly to other companies that could potentially use your waste product.
- It is CONFIDENTIAL. Only tonnage and the S.I.C. material category are recorded and reported annually.
