Student-Athletes Earn Degrees Sunday

Youngstown State University student-athletes and staff participated in commencement ceremonies on Sunday, Dec. 15, at the Beeghly Center, with 18 student-athletes receiving their degrees.
    Student-athletes receiving their diplomas on Sunday included Mike Abdalla (baseball), Be Cicero (softball), Rafael Cruz (men's basketball), Mary Kay Domitrovich (track and field), Will Edwards (cross country), Desmond Harrison (men's basketball), Maggie Johnston (women's basketball), Martin Stachowicz (football), Brandon Byers (football), Greg Giannios (football), Charles Mister (football), Todd Blackwell (football), Robert Lipowski (football), Fon Nanji (football), Kristen Meech (volleyball), Jen Vodhanel (women's tennis), LaVelle Hawkes (football) and Andrew Mosier (football).
    Also earning degrees were student assistant football coach Mike LaFlamme, former Sports Information intern Gina Amero and basketball secretary Mari Ann Cann. YSU soccer coach Liz Bartley earned a Masters of Arts as well during the ceremony.
