Youngstown State Lands 62
Student-Athletes on Horizon League
Honor Roll
Indianapolis, Ind. --
After posting a league-best 16 on
the Academic All-League Teams, 62
Youngstown State student-athletes
were honored as members of the
Horizon League 2007 Spring Academic
Honor Roll, the league announced on
Friday (June 29).
Members of the Horizon League Honor roll must meet three
criteria in order to qualify: 1)
participate in at least one of the
League's 19 sports during the most
recent (or current) season; 2)
completion of three semesters (or
four quarters, where applicable) as
a full-time student at the same
institution; and 3) a cumulative
grade-point average of 3.20 on a
4.00 scale.
The following is a sport-by-sport breakdown of Youngstown
State's honor roll members:
Baseball: Joe Antinone, Tom Clayton, Josh Page, Robert Pollum,
Ryan Sellman, Mike Turjanica and
Dustin Wachter.
Women's Basketball: Lauren Branson, Nikita LaFleur, Kira
Mowen, Toni Roscoe, and Velissa
Vaughn.
Men's Cross Country/Track and Field: Joe Lahmon, Aaron
Merrill, Dan Nemergut, Michael Perri,
John Sheppard and Drew Weizer.
Women's Cross Country/Track and Field: Bethany Anderson,
Jacquline Clonch, Lindsay Cobey,
Darcelle Formby, Jennifer Grayson,
Lindsey Hill, Stephanie Jarvis,
Madelyn McGhee, Darla Wilson, and
Emily Wollet.
Men's Golf: Ryan Alpeter.
