Earned four letters and was team captain one year... batted .479 with six home runs, 29 RBIs, 14 doubles and stole 21 bases during the summer 2007 season ... hit above .500 his senior year after eclipsing the .400 mark in his sophomore and junior seasons ... committed only one error in centerfield in his high school career ... earned first-team all-region honors his final two seasons and second-team all-region accolades as a sophomore ... named to the All-District 10 team ... ranked first in the 60-yard dash, fielding ability, hitting ability and raw power and second in arm strength at the Baseball Factory showcase at Slippery Rock in June 2007 ... also named Region 5 Player of the Year and all-state in football ... ran for 1,103 yards and 23 touchdowns on 10.4 yards per carry his senior year.
