Went 2-5 with a 4.96 ERA over 13 appearances, 10 of which were starts... Earned his first collegiate win against Marshall, allowing one run on four hits and a walk in six innings (3/15)... Improved to 2-0 when he held Butler to one earned on six hits while striking out four in a complete-game effort (4/4)... Worked around a season-high five walks by not surrendering an extra-base hit and matching his season high with four strikeouts... Was the Horizon League ERA leader at 2.31 after his win over the Bulldogs... Struck out four batters two other times... Was on the short end in each of his final five starts... Allowed only one home run and one triple in his first 50 innings... Did not allow more than two earned runs in each of his first five starts... Also went at least six innings in his first five starts.

2008 | Freshman

Went 0-1 with a 7.66 ERA over 10 appearances... struck out nine and walked 13 batters in 22.1 innings... made his debut at Alabama (March 8) and his first of two starts on April 8 at Toledo... threw 4.1 scoreless innings of relief at Xavier, surrendering one hit, walking two and striking out four (March 15)... also threw a scoreless inning his next outing at Akron (March 26)... tossed three shutout innings of relief against Milwaukee, allowing two hits and two walks (April 20)... allowed four runs on six hits in 3.2 innings in start at Toledo (April 8)... suffered the loss on April 16 against Ohio, allowing six runs (two earned) on 10 hits in 3.0 innings (April 16).
