AT THE PLATE - hit .245 in 22 games and 12 starts ... nine of his starts came between March 28 and April 15 ... made his first pitching appearance on April 18 and hd at bats in only three more games ... had a pinch-hit, two-run single with two outs in the seventh inning in a 7-3 win at Morehead State (3/17) ... also drove in two runs against Duquesne (4/3) ... went 2-for-2 against Malone (3/28), and had two hits his next game at UIC (3/31) ...
