Played in 50 games, all of which he started at shortstop… Named
First-Team All-Horizon League at shortstop and to the all-newcomer team... Became the
only first-team all-conference shortstop in school history, and his eight homers were
the most ever by a YSU shortstop... Ranked fifth in the Horizon League in doubles
(17), fifth in home runs (eight), seventh in hit by pitch (10) and ninth in slugging
percentage (.521)… Had team-high totals in runs scored (37), RBIs (36), doubles,
homers, total bases (98), at bats (188), games started (50) and assists (125)…
Finished with 12 multi-RBI games, 16 multi-hit games and seven multi-run games...
Also batted .370 with runners in scoring position and .380 after the fifth inning...
23 of his 36 RBIs also came after the fifth, and 14 came with two outs… Batted .370
against left-handers… Got off to a torrid start, batting .425 with eight doubles in
his first 11 Division I games... Gave YSU the lead in the ninth inning on
back-to-back days at VMI during the stretch... Doubled twice in both games against
VMI, and homered against the Keydets in the first… Hit home runs on back-to-back days
at Valparaiso on May 1-2... Also homered against Buffalo in the regular season
finale, highlighting a game when he also doubled twice, scored three times and drove
in a career-best four runs… Held hitless in back-to-back games only twice… Scored a
career-high three runs three different times… Had three hits twice, and drove in at
least three twice… Five of his stolen bases came in his final 11 games… Was also
solid in the field, turning in a .952 fielding percentage to compliment a team-best
125 assists... Was part of 27 double plays.

member of the Waynesboro Generals.

Named to the National Junior College Athletic Association All-America
second team … hit .456 with 11 home runs and 15 doubles while slugging .823 … scored
52 times, 28 of his 67 hits went for extra bases and had an on-base percentage of
.526 … was named the Eastern District Rawlings Big Stick award winner by finishing
with the district’s top batting average … also stole nine bases and had 67 hits
… started all 45 games at shortstop where he posted a .935 fielding percentage …
helped lead Potomac State to the Region XX finals.
