Made nine appearances on the mound, eight of which were out of
the bullpen… Went 2-1 with a 5.79 ERA and 12 strikeouts... Did not allow a run in the
final 5.1 innings of the regular season, and he went 9.1 innings to close out the
regular season without allowing an earned run… Allowed five runs in two innings his
lone start against Kent State (4/22)… From that point, did not allow an earned run
until a two-run home run in the Horizon League Tournament (5/19)… That was the only
hit he allowed in 2.2 innings… Struck out three batters around three walks in the
game… Threw 3.1 scoreless innings of relief against Marshall to earn his first win in
what was YSU’s 2,000th game as a program... Also got the win in relief against Toledo
by throwing two scoreless innings (5/12)... Held Valparaiso scoreless in 3.1 innings,
allowing two hits and three walks while striking out a career-high four (5/9).
