Was one of two players to play in all 51 games and started 45... 44 of the starts came at third base and one came at shortstop... Batted .281 with 24 runs scored, two home runs and 21 RBIs... Did not have his average below .267 all year, and it stood at .364 through the first month... Notched 10 multi-hit games, three multi-RBI games and four multi-run games... Matched his career high with three hits four times... Hit safely in 12 of the first 14 games, including the first 10... Also had hits in nine of the final 11 contests... Doubled in back-to-back games against Butler on April 4-5... Four of his nine doubles came in the final eight games... Hit a three-run homer against Wright State (5/8)... Played in 42 games and started 27 - three at second base, four at third, four at shortstop, 12 in right field and four at DH... batted .282 with 16 runs scored, two homers and 17 RBIs... hit .308 on the road, .341 against lefties and .324 with runners in scoring position... had seven multi-hit games... average was below .280 for only four games after batting .053 as a freshman... had a career-high three hits and three RBIs at Cleveland State (April 26)... also had three RBIs against Niagara (April 15) and Butler (April 19)... scored a career-high two runs at Xavier (March 15)... doubled and hit his first career home run at Xavier (March 15)... also homered and doubled against Butler (April 19).

2007 | Freshman

Appeared in 25 games and made three starts ... had his first career hit in his lone plate appearance at Wright State (4/8) ... scored in six games ... saw a large amount of time as a pinch runner and defensive substitute at shortstop.

High School

Was a two-time letterwinner for the Cardinals ... earned First-Team All-Metro Athletic Conference honors ... helped guide Canfield to two state titles.
