2008: Played in 25 games, starting 10 at first base and one at
designated hitter... hit .178 with five runs, five RBIs and a homer...
started against Cleveland State in the Horizon League Tournament, which
was his first time in the starting lineup since April 26... responded by
hitting a solo home run in the bottom of the seventh to cut the margin
to 5-2... it was his fifth career home run and fourth in seven career
games in the league tournament... had a season-high two hits and drove
in a season-best two RBIs against Niagara (April 15)... scored one
run five times.
2007: Hit .266 overall, but batted .287 in April and May after
becoming an everyday starter ... set career highs for games played (48),
at bats (124), runs (18), hits (33), doubles (4), home runs (3) and RBIs
(19) ... had five hits in 12 at bats as a pinch-hitter ... hit .400
against lefties ... was strong defensively with only three errors in 328
chances ... posted eight multi-hit games ... became the 11th player in
Horizon League history to hit two home runs in a tournament game when he
went deep twice against Butler (5/24) ... also homered at UIC (3/30) ...
drove in a career-high four runs against UIC (5/5) ... and scored a
career-high three runs against Butler in the league tournament (5/24).
2006: Appeared in 37 contests and made 16 starts at first base ...
posted three multi-hit games and four multi-RBI games ... had just one
error in 176 chances ... went 2-for-2 with two runs scored and two RBIs
against West Liberty (3/23) ... went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and
two RBIs at Cleveland State (5/20) ... also posted two hits at Austin
Peay (3/11).
2005: Made his first start on April
17 against Ashland and started every game but two for the rest of the
season ... finished the season with a .269 average and tied for the team
lead with three triples ... ended the regular season on a tear, hitting.462
with a triple and four RBIs in six games ... also slugged .615 and had an
on-base percentage of .632 during the final week ... hit a two-run blast
to right for his first career homer against UW-Milwaukee in the Horizon
League Tournament as part of a 2-for-4 performance (5/28) ... went 2-for-4
with an RBI against Ashland (4/17) ... posted two hits in four at bats
against Ohio (5/4) ... also had two hits and two RBIs against Kent State
(5/17) ... was also solid in the field, committing only one error in 178
chances for a fielding percentage of .994.
