2007 Summer: Earned second-team honors and was an all star in the Great Lakes League as a member of the Southern Ohio Copperheads ... finished the regular season with a record of 2-0 with one save while compiling a 0.87 ERA in 17 appearances ... allowed 15 hits and two earned runs in 20.2 innings, and opposing batters hit .203 against him ... played with teammates John Koehnlein and Dustin Wachter.

2007: Set career highs in virtually every category, appearing in 16 more games and throwing nien more innings than in his freshman year ... was a situational, matchup lefty for most of the season before dropping to a sidearm delivery ... ranked second on the team in appearances (23) ... held lefties to a .273 batting average ... did not allow an earned run in 11 of his outings ... threw a season-long 2.1 scoreless innings at Wright State (4/8) ... struck out two hitters at Morehead State (3/16) ... and Wright State (4/8).

2006: Finished with an ERA of 7.84 and an 0-2 record in two starts and five relief appearances ...made his first career appearance at Toledo on March 28, allowing two unearned runs on two hits in two innings ... threw two innings in his his first career start at Duquesne on April 5 ... also struck out a career-high four batters in 2 2/3 innings in a start at Kent State (4/12) ... threw one scoreless inning against UIC (5/5).

High School: Was a two-time letterwinner and one-time team captain ... was named Second-Team All-Delaware County as a senior and first team as a junior ... earned all-district and  All-Ohio Capital Conference honorable mention as a senior ... helped lead the Braves to the district championship as a senior.
