Swenson, Early Runs Lead Baseball to Split with Wright State
    Niles, Ohio -- Youngstown State jumped out to an eight-run lead and got another strong effort from sophomore Aaron Swenson to defeat Wright State 8-5 in game two of a doubleheader on Sunday.
    Wright State held off a Youngstown State rally in game one to win 6-3 on a sunny day that made a two-hour rain delay on Friday evening and a rain out on Saturday an afterthought. Release | Game One | Game Two
Penguins Lose 8-2 to Wright State; Rest of Series Postponed Until Sunday
Josh Page       Niles, Ohio -- Wright State starter Alex Kaminsky threw six scoreless innings, and Youngstown State couldn't come up with clutch hits as the Raiders won 8-2 on a rainy Friday evening at Eastwood Field.

Baseball Opens Up Big Series With Wright State Tonight

    Youngstown -- Youngstown State opens up a pivotal three-game series with Horizon League-leading Wright State tonight at 7 p.m. at Eastwood Field.
    The Penguins are currently tied for third in the league standings and trail the Raiders and UIC by two games. YSU and Wright State will also play two games on May 9, making five straight games between the two schools. Audio Preview

Two-Out Runs Key Kent State's Rally, 9-5 Victory Over Baseball

    Kent, Ohio -- Kent State scored eight straight runs to rally from a four-run deficit and defeat Youngstown State 9-5 on Wednesday afternoon at Schoonover Stadium.

YSU Breaks from League Grind to Play Kent State on Wednesday

    Youngstown -- The Youngstown State baseball team will take a break from Horizon League action for a game against Kent State on Wednesday at 3 p.m. at KSU's Schoonover Stadium.
