 Erica Chung
Assistant Athletic Trainer

Erica Chung is in her first year as an assistant athletic trainer for the
Penguins.
Chung previously worked as an assistant athletic trainer at
Kennesaw State University working with the women’s basketball and baseball
programs.
She served as a graduate athletic trainer at the University
of Nevada, Las Vegas where she received a master’s degree in kinesiology in
2006.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from the
University of Illinois at Chicago in 2001 where she was a student athletic
trainer for the women’s tennis, cross country and track & field teams.
Her other athletic training experience includes the
University of North Dakota, Loyola University Chicago and Cirque du Soleil
KA in Las Vegas.
Originally from Toronto, Canada, Chung is certified by the
National Athletic Trainers Association and America Red Cross in First Aid
and Adult CPR/AED . She is also licensed by the state of Ohio OT/PT/AT
Board.
