    Entering his 13th year with the Youngstown State Athletics Department is Assistant Sports Information Director Jamie Hall.
    Hall serves as the primary media contact for the YSU men's basketball, softball and women's soccer programs and is also the secondary contact for football.
    During his first 11 years at YSU, Hall served as the SID for the  volleyball and women's basketball programs from 1997-2008, covering two NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament teams. He also served as the media relations contact for the 2006 Horizon League Tournament Champion softball team that earned a berth in the NCAA Regional Tournament.
    He assists in the maintenance of the YSU athletics website - YSUsports.com - and is a member of the YSU Athletics Hall of Fame Committee.
    During his time at Youngstown State, Hall has led publicity efforts for 12 academic all-district selections and two academic All-America picks.
    Hall has also worked as the media contact for the men's and women's cross country and track and field,  swimming and diving and men's and women's tennis programs while at Youngstown State.
    Prior to joining the YSU staff in 1997, Hall spent two years as a graduate assistant at Illinois State, where he served as the media relations contact for the Illinois State baseball and women’s soccer teams.
    An award-winning editor at Illinois State, Hall's 1995-96 Illinois State men’s basketball game program was voted second in the nation by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) while the 1996 Illinois State football game program finished third in the nation for Division I-AA/FCS. His 1996 Illinois State Baseball Media Guide earned Best in the District honors.
    A member of CoSIDA and the United States Basketball Writers Association, Hall earned his bachelor’s degree in 1994 with a double major in sports management and business administration from Baldwin-Wallace (Ohio), where he played baseball for two seasons, and a master’s degree in sports administration from Illinois State in 1996.
    Hall resides in Canfield, Ohio, and has a 12-year-old daughter, Alison.
